A Microsoft Surface in an Apple iPad

For the nerds out there: That?s the Surface?s 1366?768 display size bordered in red, inside the iPad?s 2048?1536 display. And I?ve scaled the whole thing down so it more or less fits in a web browser.

Crazy stuff. Of course, resolution isn?t everything, but it does seem like higher-DPI screens are becoming the de facto standard. Consumers want and expect it. This could end up hurting the Surface, especially if it ships at a price-point that is as high as the iPad.
